Welcome to the world!

Little snakes! Wee little ones peeking into the world for the first time! Ooh precious things that they are.....And see? That wee one in front? Thats a pastel! My very first morph, bred and hatched, right 'ere. Oh yes. I'm proud.

The have not ventured out any further....but given time, they will. This is the hardest part--waiting! I wonder if that sweet little nose bleongs to a male or a female??? Lets hope its female!!!

In the meantime, here is a Monkey-Butt:

Shameless! Isn't she? I just returned from Idaho this past week, and these are just a few of the shots I got with the girls the day after I got back. Needless to say they were very happy to see me home again, and quite ecstatic about going to the park to burn off some steam...

Short-bus Smile!!!

Crikey! A Monkey in her natural---ok, unnatural habitat! (A natural habitat for The Monk would undoubtedly involve cushions, toys, and heaps of treats....at least, this is what Monkey would prolly tell you.)

And an Ido on a bridge. Hum.

Lacey, my friend's cattle-mutt, attended the hike as well. I stacked them all inside a tree and took a picture:

A little Give n' Take....

"Gimme-dat."

"Take it! Please? Take it! Throw it! C'moooon...."

Things have been relatively quiet in the Borderline Human abode. Well, if you count 5 foster kittens as 'quiet'....which, surprisingly, they are. I <3 this one. You tell me why:

So, we've been giving them all the love, food, affection, and good medicine they desperately needed. Benji's parents found them abandoned at a local spring way out in the country. These remaining 5 kittens were starving...and finishing off the remains of their 6th sibling, who I presume was hit by a car. Poor wee things.

Ido has begun her second round of agility training with a new instructor. She shows great promise, and this new instructor is confident that Ido has what it takes to be in competitions by late fall. We're learning lots, and I hope to bring my camera out this week and try out for some shots of Ido struttin' her stuff.

ZOMG OCTOPUS ATTACK! ...and other shenanigans.

So, my dogs seem to have a thing for octopus stuffies. At one point, we had 4-5 of them, all ranging from wee plastic ones, to giant long legged stuffies from the deep. Today, our Xmas octopus got the best of them....

"ZOMG GETITOFF!"

"Oh, hai der Mister Octopus. Kindly get off my hed?"

I really like how in both those shots, Monkey was hovering in the background like some kind of sadistic spectator. Hm. Or maybe she was on the Octopus's side....

Then it came time to torture puppies with randomly collected artifacts. I found me ye olde poisonous snake box...and, well, the pictures really are worth a thousand words. Perhaps more:

"I can has free shipping???"

"I. Will. Kill. You. In. Your. Sleep."

"ZOMG BOX!"

And Abundance of Snakes...

So, the other night I finally decided to get some recent pics of my balls. Its about time! I like catching these pictures of their development. Their colors begin to mellow out or strengthen, they're filling out. In the case of my hypo male, he is strangely loosing pigment along his spine....

07 mojave male. This is one of my fav. pics.

Iva, my shy little pinstripe.

Plato, my pedophile. Seriously. I couldn't get him to even think about breeding anything but a juvenile mojave female this year, and having them together was a freaking accident. Boy better be in the mood next year, I tell ya!

Another beautiful shot of my Hypo male, 'Tang'...

My mojave female, Godiva. Pretty girl.

Some Dogs Just Fail....

At catching balls.

Ido doesn't.

Well, at least most of the time she doesn't...

Rune...

On the other hand....

Sucks...

Most of the time.

Twilight Escapades....

I attempted a group photo shoot. Some were far more cooperative than others....*ahemRuneahem*. At least the end result turned out to be rather nice.
